Trump: US Navy Controls Hormuz as Iran Leadership Falters

Date:

On Thursday, May 23, 1405, the President of the United States of America wrote in two separate messages on the social network Truth Social, referring to political currents inside Iran, that no one knows who the leader is.

In one of the posts, he wrote, “Iran is having a very difficult time figuring out who its leader is! They don’t know at all.”

“Donald Trump” described the internal conflict among the remaining officials of the Islamic Republic as “turbulent” and wrote: “There is an internal conflict between the hardliners who have been badly defeated on the battlefield and the moderates who are not moderate at all (but are gaining acceptance).”

He continued: “We have complete control of the Strait of Hormuz. No ship can enter or leave without the approval of the United States Navy.”

In this post, Trump reiterated that the Strait of Hormuz “will remain completely closed” until Iran reaches an agreement. In another message on his social media, the US President wrote that he had ordered the US Navy to shoot and destroy any boats that lay mines in the Strait of Hormuz, even small boats.

He continued by saying that “all of their (Islamic Republic of Iran) Navy ships, 159 of them, are at the bottom of the sea.”

He wrote that “there will be no delay.” He reiterated that US minesweepers are “clearing the Strait of Hormuz right now.”

At the end of this message, Trump ordered an increase in US minesweeper activity “to a level three times greater.”
