Donald Trump has once again expressed his disapproval of Iran’s reaction to the proposal put forth by the United States.
The US president, who referred to Iran’s response as “totally unacceptable” yesterday, today labeled it as “stupid” and pointed out that Iran’s statement failed to address the issue of relinquishing nuclear weapons.
Mr. Trump reiterated his characterization of Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile as “nuclear dust” and mentioned that Iran had informed the US that only China and the US possessed the capability to retrieve it from the debris of bombed sites.
He stated that Iran had agreed two days prior to collaborate with the US in extracting its enriched uranium stockpile from underground, but subsequently reversed its decision.
Additionally, he remarked on the precarious nature of the ceasefire situation:
“The ceasefire is incredibly weak… It’s practically on a ventilator; it’s akin to when the doctor enters the room and informs you that your loved one has approximately a 1% chance of survival.”
