IDF Chief Issues Warning About Critical Soldier Shortage During War

Eyal Zamir has allegedly cautioned lawmakers that the Israeli military is in urgent need of additional soldiers as combat persists on various fronts.

As per reports from Hebrew media, Zamir has advocated for legislative measures to enhance enlistment, which include recruiting ultra-Orthodox men of military age, extending the duration of mandatory service from 30 to 36 months, and increasing the defense budget. He has reportedly emphasized that the IDF is dedicated to overcoming its adversaries and maintaining operations throughout the current conflict.
