Prince Reza Pahlavi wrote on X-Net on Sunday that 100 days ago, on January 8 and 9, millions of Iranians took to the streets, aware of the price they might pay, and more than 40,000 people died for the dignity, freedom, and liberation of Iran.
He wrote that young women removed their headscarves in front of security forces, students organized and stood up in universities, teachers, lawyers, and workers went on strike, and businessmen closed their shops in solidarity. According to him, the government responded with bullets, mass arrests, show trials, and executions.
Prince Reza Pahlavi emphasized that Iranians stood with unparalleled courage and that this is the final battle to defeat the Islamic Republic. He added that he will not stop fighting until Iran is free.
Prince Reza Pahlavi wrote that we hope the world is with us. Come what may, our struggle will continue and we will liberate Iran.
