Russia’s Failed Donetsk Campaign: Ukraine Stands Firm

Date:

Since 2022, Russia has been trying to fully capture the Donetsk region.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, the Kremlin set deadlines for this – first by autumn 2022, then by March 2023, and then by March 2024… “Russia failed to achieve its goal every single time”.

“In 2026, Ukraine continues to defend” the Donetsk region, repelling Russian attacks and destroying their equipment and troops.

Despite years of fighting and heavy losses, “Russia has failed to achieve” this objective on the battlefield. Now it’s demanding in negotiations that Ukraine give up territory that Russia could not capture.

Ukraine will not accept any formulas at the cost of its territorial integrity and sovereignty.
