Bahrain Airport Reopens: Flight Operations Resume

Date:

Bahrain International Airport has resumed flight operations as the kingdom begins a staged reopening of airspace after weeks of disruption across the Gulf.

Authorities said flights are returning in controlled waves, with schedules being rebuilt gradually as airlines work through aircraft positioning, crew availability and operational constraints.

Gulf Air has already restarted a limited number of routes, signalling the beginning of a broader recovery, while passengers are being urged to check directly with airlines as timings continue to shift.

The reopening marks an important step for regional connectivity, but it also shows that even after airspace reopens, normal operations do not return overnight.
