In Jeddah, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Muhammad bin Salman Al Saud.
The leaders discussed the implementation of the strategic security agreement in three areas.
“The first is the export of our Ukrainian security expertise and capabilities in protecting the sky. The second is energy cooperation, which adds resilience to Ukraine in this difficult time. The third is the area of food security. We work together to strengthen our peoples and partners,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.

The President emphasized that Ukraine is ready to share its experience and achievements for mutually beneficial cooperation with Saudi Arabia in protecting lives.
Special attention was paid to the issue of energy sustainability, in particular in connection with the crisis in the fuel market that arose due to the situation around Iran and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
They also talked about the prospects for Saudi Arabia’s participation in the implementation of infrastructure projects, the restoration and reconstruction of Ukraine, as well as partnership in the financial sector and other state projects.

The leaders have set tasks for their teams and are counting on their prompt and full implementation.
“Now, when international relations are significantly destabilized, it is precisely such bilateral work that restores confidence. We also exchanged assessments of the situation in the Middle East and the Gulf. We hope that there will be more security, and we are helping to achieve this,” the President of Ukraine emphasized.
