IRGC Threat: Prison Camps, US-Israel Hormuz Ban

Date:

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement on Saturday, May 25, that it has even prepared prison camps for “enemy soldiers” and that in the event of any aggression, the Islamic Republic’s response will be “beyond expectations.”

The statement claimed that the “level of intelligence and operational planning” is such that necessary predictions have been made for various scenarios, including ground operations, and that “necessary facilities have been provided to receive potential aggressors.”

The IRGC has also threatened that any new action by the United States and its allies will be met with a response at the level of “strategic deterrence.” The IRGC also said, referring to the Strait of Hormuz, that ship passage will continue, except for vessels associated with the United States and Israel.
