Trump Opens Door for Iran Talks: ‘We Have Secure Lines’

US President Donald Trump said” he hoped the Islamic Republic would act wisely, adding that Tehran could call the United States if it wanted to negotiate an end to the war between the two countries.

Speaking to Fox News on its “Sunday Briefing,” he said: “If they want to talk, they can come to us or call us. You know, there’s a phone line. We have good, secure lines.”

The US president stressed that the path to contact and dialogue is open and that it is up to the Islamic Republic to make a decision in this regard.
