Axios reporter Barack Ravid wrote on Tuesday evening, May 2, 2021, in a report on the US delegation involved in the Iran talks, that US Vice President JD Vance, Steve Whitaker and Jared Kushner are still in Washington.
According to a White House official whom Ravid cited, “More policy meetings are taking place at the White House today, which the vice president will also attend.”
The report also states that Steve Whitaker and Jared Kushner are still in the US, and that the “US Department of Homeland Security” plane that was supposed to fly them from Miami to Europe and then to Pakistan this morning was delayed and is now en route to Washington, D.C.
In his report, Barack Ravid also wrote, citing informed sources, that the movements may be related to the meeting with “Donald Trump“, but this has not been officially confirmed.
“Pakistan’s Information Minister” also announced a few hours ago that Iran’s official response regarding its participation in the next round of talks with the United States in Islamabad has not yet been received.
