Russian Satellites Spied Middle East for Iran Strikes

Date:

Russian satellites conducted dozens of detailed imagery surveys of military facilities and critical sites across the Middle East, potentially helping Iran plan strikes, according to a Ukrainian intelligence assessment reviewed by Reuters.

The report says at least 24 surveys were carried out across 11 countries, including areas with US bases, airports, and oil infrastructure. Some of the surveyed locations were later targeted by Iranian missiles and drones, suggesting a possible pattern. Reuters noted the assessment could not be independently verified.
